Pick up will be between 10:45 and 11:10 AM For the 11:00 AM service time: Drop off will be between 10:45 and 11:10 AM. Pick up will be between 12:15 and 12:40 PM * There will not be access to the 2nd floor after 12:45 PM * Please be prompt in picking up following the 11 AM service. * Please note that there will always be someone available to let you up to the 2nd floor of the building should you need access to your children during service times. ............................................................................................................................................ Coastal Church Parking:

Complimentary parking for Coastal Church services is now available in the lots @ 1166 Alberni Street. Access to the lot will be through the alley between Alberni and Robson; look for signs.

After the weekend, April 2/3, there will no longer be parking available at the Terasen building. This change will provide families direct access to the Children’s Services held on the 2nd floor from the elevator in P1, there is also special parking for Coastal Kids families in the parkade, look for the signs.

Our children’s ministry is committed to “reaching and teaching” the children of the new millennium and partnering with parents to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). Children's Church is about presenting the Word of God to children in an exciting manner that leads them not only to salvation but also guides them in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The staff and volunteers of Children’s Church are dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and innovative environment for children to grow in the knowledge of God’s Word, His principles and character. They also provide the loving and nurturing care that is necessary for a child’s spiritual and emotional growth, focusing on being a genuine expression of Christ’s love.

Understanding the culture and the environment that our children are growing up in, Children’s Church is striving towards raising a generation of children that will impact our world. “Mentoring through ministry” is a proactive approach to disciple and train children for life through ministry opportunities, which promotes “children ministering to children.” Other ministry opportunities both in and outside of the church are also offered, as well as special events, activities, camps, and retreats; all specifically designed to teach through relationship building.

+ PARENT & CHILD DEDICATION

Location:    Coastal Church Building Street:        1160 West Georgia St. Date:          November 26th Time:          1:00 PM Why Child Dedications?  The purpose of child dedication is to publicly proclaim that the parents desire to uphold God’s Word in the home and their responsibility as parents is to be in agreement with God’s Word.   At the child dedication the parents are exhorted to “train up their child in the way they should go”.   The prayer of blessing prayed over the child and parents is to provide a spiritual covering to maintain and promote the family unit as God planned it to be.   Matthew 19:14 (NLT) But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”   When and Where? Child & Parent dedication services are held every three months on a Saturday afternoon at Coastal Church.   Who Can Come?
